ChickParent adds
WhaleParent addsDownloading the app and practising Apple, Chick and Whale are included for free. Begin with Apple and let a parent add one sound at a time. There is no limit on repeating ten-question practices. Records and focus practice are available for these free sounds.
White-key single-note checks across two or three octaves are free. Single-note practice, including white keys, requires purchasing. Checks review answers at the end; practice shows feedback as you learn.
What the one-time purchase adds
🔒Additional soundsA one-time ¥1,980 purchase in Japan is planned, with no monthly fee or automatic renewal. Prices elsewhere may differ. Final pricing and availability will be announced at launch; Apple’s purchase sheet displays the price before you confirm.
Purchasing enables further chord additions, all fourteen recorded chords, white- and black-key single-note practice, all eight stages, and chord and black-key checks. Parents still choose when to add sounds or change stages. Purchasing does not guarantee improvement or absolute pitch.
A parent completes the purchase
🔒Additional sounds1. Hold Parents & settings for three seconds and complete the adult check. 2. Open Sounds & settings and review coverage. 3. Use the button showing the price to open Apple’s purchase sheet. 4. A parent checks the item and amount before approving. This website never asks for card details or your Apple Account password.
Locked practice controls lead through the parent gate to the same explanation, without playing the locked activity. Purchasing is unavailable when the price cannot be loaded; check your connection and use Reload price.
Cancelling leaves practice records intact. Pending purchases do not unlock sounds until Apple approves them. You do not need to repeatedly buy while approval is pending.
Restore after changing device or reinstalling
🔒Additional soundsUse the same Apple Account for the App Store as when you purchased. Open Sounds & settings in the parent area and choose Restore purchases. If Apple finds the purchase, additional sounds become available. Restoring does not buy the same item again.
Restoration restores purchased access, not practice history. Sessions, calendar and answers stay on the device; cross-device and web-to-iOS synchronization are not provided. Check before deleting the app or stored data if you need to retain records.
If restoration finds nothing, check the purchasing Apple Account, your connection and that temporary test mode is off. Contact support@doremeets.com with the device, OS, app version and displayed message if needed. Never send passwords or payment details.
For TestFlight testers
🔒Additional soundsPurchases in TestFlight use Apple’s sandbox without real charges. They are tests separate from purchases in the released App Store app and do not become paid ownership of the released version.
This test build includes Temporary test mode for every sound and stage. It does not grant purchase ownership or save test practice into regular records. Turning it off restores the prior settings and records. Turn it off before checking free coverage or purchase, cancellation and restoration. The normal release omits this switch.
